Najm Company for Insurance Services participated in the fourth Traffic Safety Forum and Exhibition, organized by the Saudi Traffic Safety Society (SALAMH). The exhibition, themed “The Role of Smart Technologies in Enhancing Traffic Safety”, was held in Dammam from the 11th till the 13th of December 2017.
Najm’s contribution as the Host Sponsor for this event comes in line with its expertise in providing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with traffic support services, supporting and developing the vehicle insurance industry, achieving traffic safety for road users and reducing accidents through an integrated system.
On the sidelines of event, Eng. Hani Ahmed Dahan, acting CEO of Najm Insurance Services, spoke at a panel on “The Role of Najm in Automating Traffic Safety Solutions”.
He highlighted the services provided by Najm and the systems that have been developed to facilitate the process of managing accident related incidents and supporting the concerned authorities in achieving traffic safety in the Kingdom.
In this regard, Engineer Hani Dahan said: “Our services greatly contribute to the collection of accurate data related to accidents, which further helps us address the causes of accidents. We have developed several digital services including the Thermal Map Monitoring Systems and Field Map.”
“One of our key achievements is locating and improving the safety of locations with the most number of accidents using the Thermal Map Monitoring System. Having identified 40 sites in the city of Riyadh through this system, we managed to work on 23 sites in partnership with the Riyadh municipality. This effort led to a significant drop of 94% in the rate of accidents in these specific locations.”
Eng. Dahan praised the continuous efforts of the team at The R & D department who are devoted to being up to date with the latest technological development that help automate Najm’s services. The latest Electronic Claim Service for instance, greatly contributes to minimizing the time needed to resolve issues pertaining to traffic and congestions caused by accidents, while also increasing the efficiency of mobility.
Najm was extremely keen on being a part of this forum which brings together diverse leading organizations to discuss the important topics related to traffic safety. Najm unveiled a number of techniques and systems used to facilitate the process of managing accidents and supporting concerned authorities, in order to achieve utmost road safety in the Kingdom.
