Riyadh Marriott Hotel proves to have the best banquet space and convention center not only in Riyadh but in the Middle East and North Africa region when the hotel for its seventh time receives the coveted “Best Conference/Convention Center” – Silver Category award in the recently concluded 2014 Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Travel Awards.

Riyadh Marriott Hotel first got this feat on 2005 when it won the Platinum Category of the same award. Since the inauguration of the two-level Makarim Convention Center as the extension of the hotel, it’s consistently being awarded by the Consultants of Hospitality Administrators (CHA) International, the organizing group behind MENA Travel Awards.
Riyadh Marriott Hotel’s commitment to provide top quality service in the area of meetings, incentives, conferencing and exhibitions (MICE) coincides the award giving body’s theme this year “Powered by Service Quality”.

Riyadh Marriott Hotel is located in the heart of Saudi capital’s corporate and financial district. The hotel’s banquet space can seat up to 900 people and it offers a total of 22 meeting rooms of various shapes and configurations. Within the same complex as the hotel is the two-level Makarim Convention Center, with each floor occupying 1,074 square meters. The Makarim Level A can accommodate up to 1,350 people, theatre style, while Level B can host a maximum of 1,200 guests.
Makarim Convention Center is one of the preeminent conference facilities in Riyadh. The convention center is equipped with state-of-the-art gadgets and technology for meetings. Another magnificent space is Najd Ballroom with four newly-renovated halls to allow guests to socialize in a pleasant atmosphere for both formal and casual events.
