Presentation & press conference for the world’s leading industrial fair held in Riyadh

Mr.  Marc  Siemering,  Vice  President  of  HANNOVER  MESSE  held  a  press  conference  to  present HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s leading industrial fair, which will be organized by Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover at the largest trade fair venue of the world. It will take place from 13th  to 17th  of April 2015. HANNOVER MESSE attracts more than 180,000 visitors from more than 100 different nations. Another standout feature involves the high percentage of industry professionals and top buyers and decision- makers among attendees. The visitors come to Hannover to explore the future of industry and invest in the latest factory and energy technology on show by some 5,000 exhibitors. Like In 2013, when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was represented through a high-profile participation, with a pavilion covering

1000 square meters, a Saudi Pavilion is planned again for 2015. Eng. Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al- Mutlaq, Chairman of Al Fanar Company and a regular exhibitor at HANNOVER MESSE, shared his past experiences at the trade fair. Deutsche Messe AG, which has been officially represented in KSA by the German Saudi Arabian Liaison Office of Economic Affairs (AHK Saudi Arabia) for many years, has been the world’s leading platform for industrial innovation for decades covering all aspects along the entire industrial value chain. The world’s leading show for industrial technology highlights innovations and groundbreaking solutions in all the core sectors – i.e. industrial automation and IT, energy and environmental technology, industrial supply, production engineering and services, as well as research and development. “Saudi-Arabian participation at Hannover Messe is a key factor for economic development and successful investment promotion and a further step to strengthen business ties between our two countries”, said Stephan Blocks, Deputy Delegate of AHK Saudi Arabia. HANNOVER MESSE is the international showcase for an industry of true innovative power. As for KSA a clearly defined objective consists in the industrial diversification and the investment promotion. HANNOVER MESSE offers the industry a platform that is internationally unique. Although German companies such as Siemens, Linde, DHL and Thyssen Krupp have been very successful for many years, Blocks still sees huge potential for the future.  After the press conference Mr. Marc Siemering attended in-house meetings at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) where he was welcomed by H.E. Eng. Abdullatif A. Al-Othman, Governor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAGIA and at Middle East Specialized Cables Company Building (MESC), where he met with Mr. Aiman Al Masri, President of MESC and Mr. Chew Tan Vice President – Marketing & Sales of MESC and invited them to the trade fair. He also met with Eng. Mubarak bin Abdullah Al-Mubarak, General Manager of strategic planning and investment Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu to win the commission as an exhibitor.
