Ferrari World Abu Dhabi was named “Middle East’s Leading Tourist Attraction” this year at the prestigious World Travel Awards™ Gala event. The nomination was based on the Park’s increasing popularity in the region and its unique offering that always keep guests coming back for more.

Commenting on the win, Jesse Vargas, General Manager at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, said: “We are delighted to receive this award and would like to thank our fans from across the GCC for recognizing us as a key player in the theme park industry. Since 2010, the Park has been offering visitors an unmatched exhilarating experience and over the past few months we have embarked on an unprecedented expansion to deliver an even more thrilling experience for each family member.”

An extremely popular experience within the Saudi visiting community is the Park’s recently launched “Driving Experience”, which allows guests to drive a Ferrari California around Yas Island and can accommodate two additional family members or friends on this thrilling journey. This experience sets Ferrari World Abu Dhabi apart from all other theme parks as this is the first time guests are given the opportunity to drive the car that’s been heralded “Most Stylish” and “Convertible Car” of the year.

The park has been witnessing an increase in the number of guest’s year on year, particularly from GCC countries such as Saudi Arabia, which is nearly 9 per cent of the Park’s total visitors during Q1 of this year, and a considerable increase over last year.

With the exciting new attractions and rides that will be added in the coming years, the Park anticipates more guests to visit from around the world to experience the Ferrari Spirit.
