His Excellency Eng. Dawood Abdulrahman Al Hajiri, Director General of Dubai Municipality today officially opened the second edition of SPS Automation Middle East.
The event, which runs until 4 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), is co-located with Materials Handling Middle East, and opened to a crowd of logistics, materials handling, automation and e-commerce professionals.
H.E. Eng. Dawood Abdulrahman Al Hajiri, visited the exhibition space with Simon Mellor, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East – the show’s organiser – meeting with prominent exhibitors such as Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff Automation, Sick, and Pilz.
Over the two-day runtime of SPS Automation, exhibitors and speakers will discuss the region’s readiness for the 4th industrial revolution, and will see the unveiling of automation, IoT and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies which could improve the region’s global relevance and competitiveness.
Hosted on the show floor, the SPS Automation Middle East Conference will deliver 28 sessions delivered from more than 30 expert speakers.
Delegates will have access to 20 hours of insights from industry leaders such as Obeikan, GE Digital, Aranca and AECOM.
