Al-Jazeera Paints calls for supporting innovative ideas and initiatives, youth entrepreneurial industrial projects Sponsored the “Industrial Innovation Award” as a strategic partner

As a strategic partner, Al-Jazeera Paints high quality giant in the Middle East and surrounding regions sponsored the Industrial Innovation Award launched by the Saudi Industrial Property Authority “MODON 2012.” 

The Authority held in Al Riyadh recently an award distribution ceremony attended by His Excellency Minister of Commerce and Industry, the Authority Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fozan Al Rabiah, His Excellency the Director General, Eng. Saleh Bin Ibrahim Al Rasheed, in addition to a number of officials and innovation, investment and businessmen stakeholders along with partners and award sponsors and media reporters.  

“It is a great honor for us in Al-Jazeera Paints to be at the forefront of national companies who contribute to supporting young entrepreneurs  through supporting innovative industrial initiatives and ideas which we hope that they will play a prominent role in expanding business opportunities and industrial projects,” said Al-Jazeera Paints General Manager, Abdullah Bin Saud Al Romaih.  

He added that “we have a deep conviction at Al-Jazeera Paints about the importance of encouraging bright ideas and innovative initiatives that boost the development of entrepreneurial projects and motivate youth who has a solid work ethics and giving spirits. He continued by saying that this will be positively reflected on youth on one hand and on our national economy on the other hand. ” He further said that “we consider this as part of our social responsibility as a national company and for that we are optimistic in regard to our cooperation with the Authority.” He further stressed that “we look forward to see this award realizing the success it deserve through the translation of these awarded innovative ideas into productive projects that benefit our country and contribute to its growth, development and prosperity. 

He continued on saying that “we strive to support initiatives with economic feasibility and we search for such kind of initiatives to support young entrepreneurs as they will help realize the desired industrial growth in our country in addition to creating job opportunities and localize them as well as absorb the great numbers of fresh graduates, a goal that our good government seeks to realize. I believe that all of us as national companies should contribute to achieve this goal as part of our responsibility toward our society and giving country.”

Al Romaih commended the Authority represented by the its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fozan Al Rabiah and its Director General, Eng. Saleh Bin Ibrahim Al Rasheed for its creative ideas and initiatives such as the Industrial Innovation Award. He called on all concerned parties to encourage youth on innovation and creativity and motivate them to establish their industrial projects no matter how small they are. He added that this way these ideas and initiatives will have the desired impact that will further contribute to develop our country, “as such small and mid-size projects nourish larger ones, thus providing the fertile environment to sustainable development of the Saudi industries.”

He greeted the winners for their recognition and for taken the opportunity to be involved in the industrial arena which he considered as  a main artery  to Kingdom’s economy, citing that they and their peers are the ones who are going to bear the responsibility of continuing the country’s renaissance. 

During the ceremony, the innovative ideas were highlighted and the awards were delivered to the winners. The first winner was granted SAR 500.000, the second won SAR 300.000 and the third harvested SAR 150.000.

A team from “MODON”, other specialized parties including “Bader” program, “Industrial Complexes” and “Mawhiba” and a number of industrialist from the private sector took part in the judging panel.

The winners will get continuous support including financing from investors and they will be assisted to get loans from specialized funds such as the Industrial Development Fund. They will also get a specialized training session on establishing industrial projects, setup action plans in addition to get the priority in obtaining a prefabricated plants built by “MODON” with a standardized specifications.
