HP today announced the opening of HP World 2013,under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Al-Darrab, Governor of the CITC. HP World will focus on bringing together key IT influencers as well as HP’s customers and partners from the Kingdom, taking place at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh.
As one of the largest IT event of its kind in Saudi Arabia, subject matter experts, industry leaders and key high profile CIOs alike are coming together to create a platform for knowledge sharing of IT success stories and challenges. Attendees of HP World 2013 can explore the newest IT technologies, learn about the latest industry trends as well as network with upwards of 2,500 IT professionals.

HP helps clients unlock hidden data to gain actionable insight
The first integrated big data analytics solution built on HAVEn is HP Operations Analytics, which delivers insight into all aspects of IT operations, so organizations can ensure quality service levels. The solution allows organizations to efficiently consume, manage and analyze massive streams of IT operational data from a variety of HP products, including HP ArcSight Logger and the HP Business Service Management portfolio, as well as third-party sources.
To help clients improve customer engagement and speed response to market opportunities, HP Enterprise Services has introduced HP Actionable Analytics Services. These solutions enable clients to implement analytics and extract insight hidden within big data, as well as streamline key organizational processes, such as customer offers, procurement, supply chain and inventory operations.

To help organizations avoid setbacks and successfully deploy big data solutions, HP Technology Services has expanded its Big Data Consulting Practice to ensure optimal IT infrastructure performance as well as support for increasing big data demands. New offerings include IT Strategy and Architecture, System Infrastructure, and Protection services that enable clients to align their IT infrastructure to organizational goals, while achieving compliance with industry standards and government regulations.

The company has completed the next phase of a common OpenStack-based architecture for its private, managed and public cloud offerings.

HP Cloud OS is an open and extensible cloud technology platform that leverages the power of OpenStack technology to enable workload portability, simplified installation and enhanced life cycle management across hybrid clouds.
HP CloudSystem, HP’s industry-leading private cloud offering, already embeds HP Cloud operating system (OS) technology, offering customers greater choice in deployment options. To help customers get started quickly with an initial private cloud deployment, HP also is offering the HP CloudSystem Enterprise Starter Suite. This solution provides a rapid, cost-effective way for organizations to get started with rich application cloud services, and reduces up-front costs by up to 20 percent with the bundled offering.
HP Moonshot servers also will be offered with HP Cloud OS, providing simplified provisioning and management for specific cloud workloads such as dedicated hosting and large-scale websites. HP Cloud Services, HP’s public cloud offering, also leverages HP Cloud OS technology, providing one of the leading public clouds based on OpenStack technology. Further, for customers to evaluate and understand the benefits of an OpenStack-based architecture for their cloud needs, HP is offering HP Cloud OS Sandbox for experimentation at no cost.
