A high-ranking German business delegation focusing on civil security and comprised of 18 German businessmen representing high quality products and services is visiting from April 06 to Monday April 08, 2013. The range of the represented companies varies from worldwide recognized top brands as Bosch, EADS/Cassidian, Astrium, Draeger and Schleicher to the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and other successful service providers.
During the delegation trip the companies will meet several high ranking representatives of the Saudi Economy and Society in Riyadh and Jubail. The visit is organized by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Saudi Arabia and Yemen (AHK Saudi-Arabia).
In cooperation with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Saudi Arabia and Yemen (AHK Saudi-Arabia) has organized a business round table and Business to Business meetings with high ranking representatives of the German and the Saudi Economy in Saudi Arabia on the 6th of April. The Roundtable was chaired by H.E. Dr. Al-Zamil, President of the Riyadh Chamber and aimed for articulating common interests and elaborating future plans for bilateral business cooperation in the field of civil security.

Nevertheless, as one of the fastest growing economies in the world, there is still a huge potential for the future. The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce is very eager to fulfill its function as a platform for the promotion of German–Saudi Arabian business relations in order to support projects of investment and trade from companies of our two countries”, said Andreas Hergenröther, Delegate of German Industry and Commerce for Saudi Arabia and Yemen, and added that “The visit of Parliamentary Secretary of State, Mr. Burgbacher clearly underlines the continuous interest of German politics and business to promote sustainable business cooperation between companies of our two countries. We want to assure you that we are interested in fair and sustainable business relations which allow both sides to benefit from each other. Our philosophy is not to sell and go away; we want German Economy to stay a long term partner for the Saudi Arabian Economy – a partner that can support Saudi Arabia to accomplish the objectives of industrial diversification and the promotion of FDIs”
Amongst others, the Delegation will meet Deputy Minister of Finance, Dr. Hamad
bin Suleiman Al-Bazie’, Deputy Minister of Economy and Planning Dr. Ahmed
Habeeb He will also visit the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and meet
representatives of Sabic.
The focus of his visit to the Kingdom lies mainly on Foreign Trade Policy, supporting small and medium sized companies in the field of Civil Security.
