Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, April 2013 – The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh was recognised for its contribution to the Saudi tourism industry with two honours at the inaugural Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards.
Following a detailed nomination process and review by an international panel of judges, composed of tourism and hospitality academics as well as business experts in the Kingdom’s tourism sector, The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh was awarded the Best Five Star Hotel and Best Community Program plaudits.
Held in partnership with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, the awards recognise excellence in the tourism and hospitality sector, and acknowledge and reward hotel design, performance and reputation, while seeking out the best properties in different categories all around the Kingdom.
