This week, TPP attended the Ministry of Health and HIMSS Middle East conference, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The conference attracted over 1,000 delegates including ministry officials.
The two day conference began on the 30th April with a ministerial visit to the exhibition. During the visit, TPP had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Minister of Health for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Following the visit, Dr. Rabeeah gave an official welcome to the delegation. Dr. Abdullah Al Wehaibi also addressed the delegation, outlining his vision for e-health across the Kingdom
Dr John Parry, Clinical Director, TPP, spoke to delegates about integrated healthcare IT for better care. John says, “Delegates were interested to learn how integrated IT has been delivered in the UK. The NHS has overcome challenges to deliver world class healthcare to patients. Delegates were interested to discover how these lessons could be applied to the highly developed health services of the Middle East.
Throughout the event, delegates visited the TPP stand to find out more about the clinical software, SystmOne. In the UK, over 5,000 NHS organisations use SystmOne to digitalise their service. The system is used to share Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) across health settings, from primary care centres to hospitals and child health
In January, TPP announced that they are working with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) looking at opportunities to export SystmOne overseas.
TPP are also exhibiting at the World Health of IT event during e-health week, Dublin from the 13th May and Hospitalar, Sao Paulo from the 21st May.
