Powered by the new Flagship Portrait Camera System built around two flagship imaging sensors — the IMX709 and the IMX766 — Reno7 Pro 5G delivers a generational leap in portrait image performance, offering unlimited possibilities in photo and video at the touch of a button. OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G features the iconic OPPO Glow glass on its back cover with the Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) technology for the first time ever in the industry, and also boosts the flagship-level 5G performance powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-MAX. Meanwhile, a 4500mAh battery and 65W SUPERVOOCTM guarantee an extraordinary, long-lasting experience. Tying all of these together, the ColorOS 12 creates a convenient and efficient user experience on smartphone. With all these features packed into a sleek and light smartphone, Reno7 Pro 5G is the portrait expert designed to help users get most out of the 5G era.Unlimited Imaging Power Brings Gorgeous Portraits to LifeSince the launch of the first OPPO Reno smartphone, Reno users worldwide have been capturing the world around them in stunning, professional-quality portraits. Now, with the new Reno7 Pro 5G, this portrait experience enters a new realm of possibilities.Powering Reno7 Pro 5G’s impressive imaging capabilities is the mighty Flagship Portrait Camera System, comprising a 50MP main camera powered by a flagship IMX766 sensor, alongside an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a dedicated color temperature sensor on the rear of the device. On the front, the 32MP front camera is powered by a next generation flagship RGBW sensor — the IMX709 — which has been co-developed by OPPO and Sony and makes its world debut on Reno7 Pro 5G.The IMX709 sensor introduces an all-new RGBW pixel array that contains additional white pixels not found in traditional RGGB image sensors. When combined with OPPO’s self-developed Quadra Binning algorithm, the sensor is able to boost light intake without reducing color information. Furthermore, the Quadra Binning algorithm has been embedded directly onto the IMX709, greatly improving cross-platform compatibility and image processing efficiency. Thanks to these innovations, Reno7 Pro 5G with the IMX709 is able to capture 60% more light than standard RGGB sensors while reducing noise by up to 35%. This enables Reno7 Pro 5G to capture significantly clearer and brighter images in low-light conditions, making portraits more expressive in both photo and video through enhancements to skin, texture, and contrast. Together with the industry-first use of DOL-HDR on the front camera of a smartphone, Reno7 Pro 5G’s front camera enables users to easily capture high-quality selfie videos, and Smart Wide-angle helps them to get selfies in different situations easily. On the rear of the phone, the main camera features a flagship IMX766 sensor with a large 1/1.56-inch sensor size and advanced technologies including All Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF and DOL-HDR, guaranteeing an enhanced portrait experience from the ground up.Taking full advantage of this flagship-level hardware foundation, Reno7 Pro 5G comes packed with a series of impressive imaging features:AI Highlight Video can automatically detect the ambient light in a scene and make optimizations accordingly. With a 3D LUT (3D Lookup Table) color tuning algorithm, AI Highlight Video provides more accurate color tuning to enhance skin tone and help subjects stand out in portrait videos. Bokeh Flare Portrait Video enables users to capture portrait videos with bokeh light spots on the background, like the bokeh effect of DSLR camera. On Reno7 Pro 5G, Bokeh Flare Portrait Video has been updated to further enhance skin tone, especially in dark environments, against solid-colored backgrounds, or when the color of the background is close to the color of the main subject’s skin tone. As a result, portrait subjects stand out from the background while maintaining a natural appearance.Portrait Mode intelligently applies a depth of field effect to the image background, including beautiful bokeh light spots, to make portrait subjects stand out more than before. Users can choose from 25 adjustment levels to change the virtual aperture size and the corresponding size of the bokeh light spots on the background to create original-yet-realistic portrait photos.Reno7 Pro 5G also includes a series of features to help users take clearer photos and videos with enhanced creativity. Focus Tracking, Dual-View Video, Flash Snapshot, and other features all give users the creative tools to express themselves and record special moments in their own style.Unlimited Style with Stunning OPPO Glow Inheriting the hallmark OPPO Glow design of the Reno series, Reno7 Pro 5G comes in two fresh new colors: Startrails Blue and Starlight Black. In addition to using the exclusive OPPO Glow manufacturing process, Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) technology has been applied to the back case of Reno7 Pro 5G, making it the first time that LDI has been used on the exterior of a smartphone. On the back cover of Reno 7 Pro 5G Startrails Blue, 1.2 million micro-rasters have been etched onto the photoresist-coated AG glass with the sophisticated LDI technology. The overall visual effect is like thousands of comets flashing across the sky, leaving long trails of light in their wake.Bringing even more light to the back cover is the Orbit Breathing Light, an industry-first, 3D circular light surrounding the camera area. The Orbit Breathing Light gently emits light when receiving incoming calls or notifications, adding an even dreamier atmosphere to the back cover of the phone. On the front of the phone, a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate delivers a super-smooth and comfortable viewing experience. The display is HDR10+ certified for a more vivid and higher quality visual experience while also being Amazon Prime Video HD&HDR certified for high-quality visual content.Reno7 Pro 5G features a new ultra-slim design, with 2.5D glass applied to both the front and back of the phone to give it a super sleek and minimal look while avoiding unintended touches of the screen during use. On top of this, Reno7 Pro 5G remains extremely thin and light, with a thickness of just 7.45mm and a total weight of only about 180g.Unlimited Performance for an Exceptional 5G ExperienceTo deliver even more powerful 5G performance, Reno7 Pro 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-MAX flagship-level 5G-integrated SoC. Built on a 6nm process, the octa-core SoC includes an ARM Cortex-A78 core operating at up to 3GHz, delivering ultimate computing power with lower power consumption.Reno7 Pro 5G comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB ROM as standard. When used with RAM Expansion technology developed by OPPO, the phone’s original 12GB of RAM can be supplemented with a massive 7GB by temporarily allocating ROM, enabling multiple memory-heavy apps to be run simultaneously with less lag. With 65W SUPERVOOCTM, the 4500mAh large battery of Reno7 Pro 5G can be fully charged in as little as 31 minutes; meanwhile a 5-minute charge offers 4 hours of movie playback. The museum belongs to the Olympic Museums Network, and is a legacy project of the Doha Asian Games 2006” Stated Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayasa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums.  “The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, comes after Qatar’s outstanding performance at the Tokyo Olympics, and just before we host the World Cup in November 2022.  Culture and sports are two sides of the same coin, and there is no better time to celebrate our nations investments in both Culture and Sports.  Two pillars that also support Qatar’s investments in Education and Health.”   Finally, she added, “The opening promises to celebrate the Qatari athletes with the world; a testament of the leadership of His Highness the Emir in focusing on developing people in all fields.”

The Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage (OFCH) Director and Olympic Museum Network (OMN) Chair Angelita Teo said: “Having the brand new 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum join the Olympic Movement in promoting the Olympic Games and Olympic Values is a great source of excitement. “We will be opening the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum at an incredible moment in the history of sports within our own nation as Qatar prepares to welcome more than a million tourists for the FIFA World Cup. These visitors may speak a myriad of languages but understand sports to be a universal dialect that promotes camaraderie among people and nations. This sentiment is evident throughout the Museum, which brings together sports, figures, and iconic moments from all different areas of the world. We are especially excited to share with our visitors the history of traditional sports in our region and the development of Qatar as a destination for international sporting events,” said Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Thani, President, 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum.

The gallery explores how sports has been and continues to be essential to the development of Qatar, looking ahead to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. The gallery also brings to life Qatar’s long-established sports activities such as falconry, pearl diving and camel racing, exploring how these sports are reflected in Qatar’s oral traditions and illustrating how they are connected to Qatar’s heritage and landscape.

·        The “Activation Zone” promotes physical activity across Qatar and encourages the adoption of healthy and active lifestyles. Visitors are invited to walk through six spaces that evoke the landscape of Qatar. As they discover the park, the market and desert, the beach, city and finally the arena, visitors will participate in a variety of fun challenges.

The Museum is built onto the side of Khalifa International Stadium. The design by Spanish architect Joan Sibina comprises two buildings: a main structure that follows the arc of the Stadium, and an attached round access building inspired by the Olympic rings. Khalifa International Stadium is part of Aspire Zone, also known as Doha Sports City, a 250-hectare (2.5 km) sporting complex located in Baaya district of Doha that also includes the Aspire Academy for Qatar’s youth, Hamad Aquatic Centre, Aspire Tower and Doha’s largest park, Aspire Park.

The 3-2-1 Café, located on the first floor of the Museum, offers visitors tasty, wholesome, freshly made food and drink options as well as takeaway offerings.

The opening of a new regional office in Riyadh marks The Qode’s first step towards expanding its activities in the Kingdom and underpins its ambition to be the region’s leading lifestyle communications agency

Regional luxury communications and events agency, The Qode announces the opening of a regional office in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new office in Riyadh is part of The Qode’s wider expansion plans into the Kingdom, in response to the rising demand for credible representation from luxury, lifestyle and F&B brands investing in Saudi Arabia.

Ranked amongst the top 15 countries with the highest consumption of luxury goods globally, Saudi Arabia represents the largest GCC country with one of the biggest percentages of high-net-worth individuals amongst its population. Driven by rising income levels, the Saudi luxury market has exhibited steady growth and the Kingdom is one of the few countries that saw a sharp growth in sales during the height of the pandemic.

The Qode’s Co-Founders and Managing Partners, Ayman Fakoussa and Dipesh Depala, along with their partners at The Independents group, identified a growing need from existing and potential clients to invest in this increasingly important market, one unlike any other GCC country.

Commenting on the expansion, Fakoussa said: “My family has been in Saudi Arabia since 1980, and I grew up among highly educated and well-travelled Saudi friends.  This new generation of Saudis represent the future of the Kingdom, and are part of the foundation that drives Saudi Vision 2030, under the leadership of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.  The Qode is proud to to be part of this remarkable progress in Saudi Arabia, and we are thrilled to be able to offer our clients a unique perspective from within KSA, in an effort to consistently improve our level of service and innovation.”

The Kingdom has undergone important shifts, resulting in the tremendous appetite for new experiences, lifestyle offerings, and entertainment amongst the Saudi population. With so many recent developments, it is crucial for companies to have local insights successfully enter this significant market.

“Most of the large luxury groups now have local entities in the Kingdom, along with full marketing and events teams that often operate independently from the regional offices in Dubai, which is why having an on-ground team is imperative,” explained Depala.

“For many years, we were able to successfully manage the Saudi market from Dubai, but in light of the increasing demand it became clear that The Qode required physical on-ground support all year round. The Qode’s expansion has been met with tremendous excitement from our clients, who are pleased that we can help them excel and shine in Saudi the same way we do in the UAE,” added Depala.

The Qode, with its partner agencies at The Independents Group (Bureau Betak, Karla Otto, Lefty and K2), aim to contribute to the Kingdom’s transformation into a leading global hub by supporting the introduction of unique new experiences, exciting lifestyle offerings and groundbreaking entertainment events through the agency’s ever-expanding client portfolio.

Speaking on the overall development of The Independents Group, CEO Isabelle Chouvet added “The Middle East market is a very important region for our clients and as a group we look forward to developing our services in the region with our companies, with the local support of our partners The Qode.  We are already working on several projects in the region with Karla Otto in terms of communications as well as events for our global clients with K2 and Bureau Betak.”

Speaking about the new developments, Zeina Hallassou Sakr, The Qode’s General Manager said: “The expansion into the Kingdom has been in the works since 2019 and were unfortunately stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however the agency’s positive growth projections have enabled us to resume our expansion plans and invest significantly into Saudi.”

“The Qode already has three full-time consultants in Riyadh, with plans to grow the team in numbers and competencies by the end of Q1 2022, and we look forward to further developing the agency’s capabilities within the Kingdom over the coming years and beyond,” added Sakr.

The Qode’s ambition is to remain being the leading lifestyle agency in the region and continue servicing our clients in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and now Saudi Arabia, with plans to work more closely with the Egyptian market, which is growing in importance across several sectors.
The Qode held its first KSA brand showcase / press day in Riyadh on Sunday, 30th January at ‘The A Fashion House’ in BLVD Riyadh Seasons.  The event was attended by media, influencers, clients and VIPs and showcased the latest collections from brand in its portfolio such as Givenchy, MCM, Rimowa, Mouawad, Bil Arabi, Louboutin, IWC, Mango, H&M, COS, Zara, Alo Yoga and many more.  To mark their launch in Saudi Arabia in a meaningful way, The Qode collaborated with a local charity who used art works made by children with down syndrome to create sweatshirts to gift their clients.  A donation was made to Saut: The Voice of Down Syndrome Society as part of The Qode’s ongoing philanthropic efforts
