OPPO intends to launch the new Reno7 Pro 5G next week in Riyadh

OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G features the iconic OPPO Glow glass on its back cover with the Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) technology for the first time ever in the industry, and the ColorOS 12 creates a convenient and efficient user experience on smartphone. With all these features packed into a sleek and light smartphone, Reno7 Pro 5G is the portrait expert designed to help users get most out of the 5G era.

OPPO plan to launch the latest member of its popular Reno series — OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G — in Saudi Arabia. Powered by the new Flagship Portrait Camera System built around two flagship imaging sensors — the IMX709 and the IMX766 — Reno7 Pro 5G delivers a generational leap in portrait image performance, offering unlimited possibilities in photo and video at the touch of a button.

Unlimited Style with Stunning OPPO Glow
Inheriting the hallmark OPPO Glow design of the Reno series, Reno7 Pro 5G comes in two fresh new colors: Startrails Blue and Starlight Black.

In addition to using the exclusive OPPO Glow manufacturing process, Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) technology has been applied to the back case of Reno7 Pro 5G, making it the first time that LDI has been used on the exterior of a smartphone. On the back cover of Reno 7 Pro 5G Startrails Blue, 1.2 million micro-rasters have been etched onto the photoresist-coated AG glass with the sophisticated LDI technology. The overall visual effect is like thousands of comets flashing across the sky, leaving long trails of light in their wake.

Bringing even more light to the back cover is the Orbit Breathing Light, an industry-first, 3D circular light surrounding the camera area. The Orbit Breathing Light gently emits light when receiving incoming calls or notifications, adding an even dreamier atmosphere to the back cover of the phone.

On the front of the phone, a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate delivers a super-smooth and comfortable viewing experience. The display is HDR10+ certified for a more vivid and higher quality visual experience while also being Amazon Prime Video HD&HDR certified for high-quality visual content.

Reno7 Pro 5G features a new ultra-slim design, with 2.5D glass applied to both the front and back of the phone to give it a super sleek and minimal look while avoiding unintended touches of the screen during use. On top of this, Reno7 Pro 5G remains extremely thin and light, with a thickness of just 7.45mm and a total weight of only about 180g.

Unlimited Convenience with the Fresh-new ColorOS 12
As part of the first series to be installed with ColorOS 12 out of the box, Reno7 Pro 5G gives users immediate access to a more convenient, smoother, and smarter operating system.

The brand-new Inclusive Design and 3D Icons in ColorOS 12 offer a more intuitive and simpler way for users to interact with their phone. The new Omoji feature also creates new avenues for personalization with a variety of customization options and real-time facial tracking through OPPO’s advanced Face Capture Algorithm.

ColorOS 12 also delivers leaps in convenience and productivity by removing unnecessary steps and barriers. For example, PC Connect can connect Reno7 Pro 5G seamlessly with a PC via Bluetooth or by scanning a QR code, making working across multiple devices so much easier and more efficient.

When it comes to data security and privacy, ColorOS 12 has been certified by third parties including ISO, ePrivacy, and TrustArc, and includes features like Anti-peeping for Notifications to help further protect user privacy in day-to-day use.

The opening of a new regional office in Riyadh marks The Qode’s first step towards expanding its activities in the Kingdom and underpins its ambition to be the region’s leading lifestyle communications agency

Regional luxury communications and events agency, The Qode announces the opening of a regional office in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new office in Riyadh is part of The Qode’s wider expansion plans into the Kingdom, in response to the rising demand for credible representation from luxury, lifestyle and F&B brands investing in Saudi Arabia.

Ranked amongst the top 15 countries with the highest consumption of luxury goods globally, Saudi Arabia represents the largest GCC country with one of the biggest percentages of high-net-worth individuals amongst its population. Driven by rising income levels, the Saudi luxury market has exhibited steady growth and the Kingdom is one of the few countries that saw a sharp growth in sales during the height of the pandemic.

The Qode’s Co-Founders and Managing Partners, Ayman Fakoussa and Dipesh Depala, along with their partners at The Independents group, identified a growing need from existing and potential clients to invest in this increasingly important market, one unlike any other GCC country.

Commenting on the expansion, Fakoussa said: “My family has been in Saudi Arabia since 1980, and I grew up among highly educated and well-travelled Saudi friends.  This new generation of Saudis represent the future of the Kingdom, and are part of the foundation that drives Saudi Vision 2030, under the leadership of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.  The Qode is proud to to be part of this remarkable progress in Saudi Arabia, and we are thrilled to be able to offer our clients a unique perspective from within KSA, in an effort to consistently improve our level of service and innovation.”

The Kingdom has undergone important shifts, resulting in the tremendous appetite for new experiences, lifestyle offerings, and entertainment amongst the Saudi population. With so many recent developments, it is crucial for companies to have local insights successfully enter this significant market.

“Most of the large luxury groups now have local entities in the Kingdom, along with full marketing and events teams that often operate independently from the regional offices in Dubai, which is why having an on-ground team is imperative,” explained Depala.

“For many years, we were able to successfully manage the Saudi market from Dubai, but in light of the increasing demand it became clear that The Qode required physical on-ground support all year round. The Qode’s expansion has been met with tremendous excitement from our clients, who are pleased that we can help them excel and shine in Saudi the same way we do in the UAE,” added Depala.

The Qode, with its partner agencies at The Independents Group (Bureau Betak, Karla Otto, Lefty and K2), aim to contribute to the Kingdom’s transformation into a leading global hub by supporting the introduction of unique new experiences, exciting lifestyle offerings and groundbreaking entertainment events through the agency’s ever-expanding client portfolio.

Speaking on the overall development of The Independents Group, CEO Isabelle Chouvet added “The Middle East market is a very important region for our clients and as a group we look forward to developing our services in the region with our companies, with the local support of our partners The Qode.  We are already working on several projects in the region with Karla Otto in terms of communications as well as events for our global clients with K2 and Bureau Betak.”

Speaking about the new developments, Zeina Hallassou Sakr, The Qode’s General Manager said: “The expansion into the Kingdom has been in the works since 2019 and were unfortunately stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however the agency’s positive growth projections have enabled us to resume our expansion plans and invest significantly into Saudi.”

“The Qode already has three full-time consultants in Riyadh, with plans to grow the team in numbers and competencies by the end of Q1 2022, and we look forward to further developing the agency’s capabilities within the Kingdom over the coming years and beyond,” added Sakr.

The Qode’s ambition is to remain being the leading lifestyle agency in the region and continue servicing our clients in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and now Saudi Arabia, with plans to work more closely with the Egyptian market, which is growing in importance across several sectors.
The Qode held its first KSA brand showcase / press day in Riyadh on Sunday, 30th January at ‘The A Fashion House’ in BLVD Riyadh Seasons.  The event was attended by media, influencers, clients and VIPs and showcased the latest collections from brand in its portfolio such as Givenchy, MCM, Rimowa, Mouawad, Bil Arabi, Louboutin, IWC, Mango, H&M, COS, Zara, Alo Yoga and many more.  To mark their launch in Saudi Arabia in a meaningful way, The Qode collaborated with a local charity who used art works made by children with down syndrome to create sweatshirts to gift their clients.  A donation was made to Saut: The Voice of Down Syndrome Society as part of The Qode’s ongoing philanthropic efforts

Exhibitions organizer, Expo Republic, will launch the 1st edition of Nile Properties in 2022 and the 5th edition in February 2022 in Doha and Jeddah.

Nile Properties 2022 comes to keep pace with the mega development drive spearheaded by the Egyptian State and with the establishment of 4th Generation Cities that are rife with investment opportunities, notably the New Administrative Capital and New Alamein, as 2022 will see NAC becoming operational with all ministries moving and starting to operate from there.

During 2021 the Egyptian economy grew 9,8% in the 1st quarter of 2021-2022, the highest in 20 years, up from 0,7% in the 1st quarter of 2020/2021. The annual growth rate is likely to be in the range of 5,5% and 5,7% late 2021/2022.

In Nile Properties 2022, the Egyptian companies are bent on introducing a myriad plethora of exquisite projects in the new cities, the 4th Generation Cities and the Egyptian coasts. They will roll out outstanding offers and facilities that are commensurate with all income segments of Egyptians, expatriates, Arabs and foreign customers.

Nile Properties 2022, where light will be shed on investment opportunities in the Egyptian market, is due to be attended by leading officials and public figures in Egypt and the Gulf Arab States.

On his part, Eng. Tarek Shoukri, under-secretary of Housing Committee at Egypt’s Representative House, said that the Egyptian market is rife with remarkable investment opportunities and most apt to generate high returns on real estate investments owing to its overpopulation-induced and investment-driven real and growing demand. The Egyptian real estate sector, he added, has proved its resilience and was the least hampered by the economic challenges domestically and internationally.

The economic stability and security, together with Egypt’s mega projects, all help bolster the attractiveness of buying and investing, he explained.

The Egyptian government is taking a series of steps to support the local and foreign investments and maintain the rights of buyers, as a set of regulatory rules is currently under consideration with the aim of organizing the real estate market and enhancing expansion plans of serious companies.

On the other hand, Chief Executive and Managing Director of Tatweer Misr Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, said that Egypt is so much interested in property export and concrete steps have been taken to prioritize this key issue through first alluring foreign investments to come to Egypt, along with the Egyptian expatriates and the Arab brothers abroad.

Nile Properties has fared  well in exporting the Egyptian real estate in recent years, as the company has managed to launch successful editions of the real estate shows with the participation of numerous leading developers in Egypt.

Real estate exhibitions provides an optimal venue for successfully promoting the Egyptian properties and investment opportunities, he noted, adding that Egypt is spearheading a developmental drive, matchless locally and internationally.

Moreover, chairman of Expo Republic Dr. Basem Kalila, said that Nile Properties Shows will in see in 2022 the launch of the biggest raft of real estate projects in Egypt’s New Urban Communities Cities, such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6TH of October City, NAC and coasts including Ain Sokhna, Al Galala and North Coast.

“The company is keen on offering the best real estate products in the Egyptian market, as it contracts with serious-minded developers with wide expertise in the area of accomplishing integrated top-notch urban projects.

The company adheres to all guidelines set by Egypt’s Ministry of Housing as well the governmental bodies in countries hosting the real estate shows, as it tries to make sure all paperwork and documents belonging to all exhibitors are correct and a part of the projects that are promoted in the exhibition is carried out, he elaborated.

An edition of Nile Properties 2022 will take place in the Arab Gulf States next February, as the 1st Nile Properties show in will take place in Qatar from 10 to 12 February, then Riyadh from 17 to 19 February and Jeddah from 24 to 26 February.

NEW REPORT TO MAP OUT SAUDI ARABIA’S EVOLVING LEGAL FRAMEWORK AS KINGDOM EYES VISION 2030 GOALS

Oxford Business Group (OBG) has signed a first-time memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Eyad Reda Law Firm to collaborate on content production relating to Saudi Arabia’s legal and regulatory framework.

Under the agreement, Eyad Reda will team up with OBG to produce the Legal Framework Chapter of The Report: Saudi Arabia 2022, the Group’s forthcoming report on the Kingdom’s investment opportunities and economic development, and other related content.

The MoU was signed at an official event on January 24, 2022, by Simona Simeonova, Country Director, OBG, and Eyad Reda, Managing Partner, at the law firm’s offices.

Speaking at the signing event, Reda highlighted some of the topical issues that the law firm will be examining in the report, in addition, Mr. Reda shared a brief view in light of legal reforms and transformations in Saudi Arabia at the government’s investment strategy for its giga-projects, and the integrated logistics zone initiatives.

The Bankruptcy Law will be another focus, alongside a broad-based analysis of the legislation and regulations, both issued and in draft form, relating to key areas, such as: foreign real estate ownership; entertainment; tourism; foreign investment; and the digital economy, including fintech.

Reda told attendees that although the Saudi government was overseeing the delivery of the strategies driving the Kingdom’s socio-economic transformation, all of the stakeholders involved, including local businesses and foreign investors, would need to adapt to operating within an increasingly competitive environment and much more advanced legal framework.

“Lawyers and regulatory experts have a crucial role to play in advancing the economy’s diversification and reducing the emphasis on oil,” he said. “Evolving sectors are expected to expand and create new jobs. However, that can only happen if there is a world class regulatory framework. Maserati: back to racing.

The First Italian Brand to compete in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship from 2023

Maserati today announces the first step in its motorsport strategy and will make its debut in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in 2023.

With motorsport in its genes and rooted in the spirit of pure competition, Maserati is the first Italian brand to compete in Formula E.  The return to the track renews the racing spirit in Maserati’s DNA.

The combination of Maserati’s unrivalled racing heritage – a brand intrinsically linked with high-performance, and its innovative attitude towards electrification – aligns perfectly with the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, the world’s first all-electric road-racing motorsport series.

Maserati’s commitment to electric mobility is powered by a lightning surge of new energy, now accelerating to run at top speed with Folgore, the full electric range. All new Maserati models will also be available in 100% electric solutions including Maserati Grecale, Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio and the Maserati MC20 super sportscar.

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship provides Maserati with a perfect platform to showcase the unprecedented brand racing heritage and Folgore in an environment where high performance and innovation powerfully co-exist.

Maserati will debut on the grid from Season 9 with the new Gen3, the fastest, lightest, most powerful Formula E racing car ever. The Gen3 is the world’s most efficient racing car featuring a series of industry-leading design, production and technological innovations.

Since inception, Formula E’s dramatic racing on the streets of the world’s most iconic cities including New York, Monaco, Berlin, Mexico City, London and Rome has led to electric cars exported around the world today going further on every charge through increases in energy efficiency, enhancements in battery range and advances in powertrain development.

Davide Grasso, Maserati CEO, commented: “We are very proud to be back where we belong as protagonists in the world of racing. We are powered by passion and innovative by nature. We have a long history of world-class excellence in competition and we are ready to drive performance in the future.” Grasso continued: “In the race for more performance, luxury, and innovation, Folgore is irresistible and it is the purest expression of Maserati. That’s why we decided to go back to racing in the FIA Formula E World Championship, meeting our customers in the city centers of the world, taking the Trident forward into the future”.

Jean-Marc Finot, Senior VP, STELLANTIS Motorsport, added: “It is a great pleasure for STELLANTIS Motorsport to play a part in getting Maserati back in the Race. Beyond this piece of history, Maserati Formula E will be our technological laboratory to accelerate the development of high-efficiency electrified powertrains and intelligent software for our road sports cars. Formula E is the perfect Championship for this purpose and we are very proud to be the first Italian brand to join in.”

Alejandro Agag, Founder & Chairman, Formula E, said: “We are proud to welcome Maserati to their new home in world-class motorsport. The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is the pinnacle of electric racing. It provides the perfect environment for the most dynamic and innovative high-performance car brands to showcase their technological capabilities alongside their sporting ambitions.”

Jamie Reigle, CEO, Formula E, said: “We are delighted Maserati will join the Gen3 era of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and play a defining role reimagining the future of motorsport. Formula E races in the heart of the most iconic cities in the world and is followed passionately by a progressive global audience. Our millions of fans around the world will be thrilled to see Maserati line up on the grid as one of the world’s elite electric car brands.”

Mohammed Ben Sulayem, FIA President: “I am delighted to welcome Maserati to Formula E for Season 9. For such an iconic manufacturer with a tremendously proud and successful heritage in motor sport to pledge its commitment to the series is testament to the overwhelming faith in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship’s future as we prepare to usher in the next era. The new Gen3 single-seater will represent the pinnacle of sustainability, technology and performance.”

Maserati was born on the track from audacity, first of the Maserati brothers, then of its drivers.

Its racing debut was 96 years ago. The first racing car to bear the Trident logo on the bonnet was the Tipo 26, which debuted at the Targa Florio in 1926, winning first place in the class up to 1.5 L, with Alfieri Maserati at the wheel.

Thirty-one years later, Juan Manuel Fangio won the F1 World Championship with Maserati in 1957.
The last time Maserati was seen in a single seater was with Maria Teresa De Filippis, the first woman to qualify for a Formula 1 Grand Prix, on board of a 250F.

Its very last appearance in racing was with the unprecedented MC12, which won 22 races (including 3 victories in the 24 Hours of Spa) and 14 Championship titles across Constructors’ Championships, Drivers’ Championships and Teams’ Championships in the FIA GT, from 2004 to 2010.

Racing has always been Maserati’s natural habitat. Even now, with its new era in Formula E, Maserati is starting from its roots as it builds its future.
